MEMBERSHIP
Charge: To assure that ASTC has a strong and vital membership. To determine ASTC membership by reviewing applications and accepting new members, considering Governing Member site visits and peer consultations, and taking action regarding members in arrears. To provide oversight to the membership program through periodic review of membership categories, criteria, benefits, dues rates, and promotional efforts.

ADVOCACY
Charge: To provide policy advice to the Government and Public Relations Office and to encourage ASTC membership to participate in advocacy actions on behalf of the field. To advise on legislative actions, strategies, and candidates for federal appointments; to assist in formulating persuasive advocacy arguments and positions; and to take a leadership role in the implementation of action plans.
