ASTC 2007: Lights, camera, action!

The California Science Center, Los Angeles, will host the 2007 ASTC Annual Conference, October 13-16. With the recent completion of its new Wallis Annenberg Building for Science Learning and Innovation, the center is poised to share the story of how its vision is becoming reality—and to inspire colleagues from around the world.

The Big Lab, one of the facility’s new features, offers a place for exploratory hands-on experiments designed specifically for students and educators. The center also runs an elementary school and the S.T.A.R. (Science, Technology, Art, and Recreation) After School Program.

In addition to opportunities to visit the California Science Center and hear about its programs and plans, ASTC 2007 will feature a host of workshops, sessions, trips, and stellar speakers. Watch here for details, and check the Conference Planner.
