Informal Learning Experiences Traveling Exhibitions Forum

Friday, September 28, 6:00–7:30 p.m., Hartford Marriott Downtown, Rooms CDE, 3rd Floor, 200 Columbus Boulevard
Traveling exhibition providers highlight their available and upcoming exhibits, and science centers and museums discuss the kinds of exhibitions they are currently seeking. This event is free, and all are welcome to attend, grab light snacks and drinks, network, listen, and participate. Presentations will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., so speakers and attendees are encouraged to arrive beforehand for refreshments and networking.

A reception for current and prospective director members of the Association of Science Museum Directors (ASMD). Learn about ASMD, meet fellow science museum directors, and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Stand-up Science

Join us for our annual evening of comedy and cabaret all about science and science centers (yes, really!) performed by, and for, delegates of the ASTC conference. Relax as your friends and colleagues delight and entertain you over drinks and dinner. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. so you can settle in before the show. Presented by the International Centre for Life (and many more!)
