It has come to our attention that Convention Expo Travel is contacting exhibitors and soliciting hotel reservations for the October 2008 Conference in Philadelphia. Please be aware that this company is making calls under false pretenses claiming they represent housing for ASTC Conferences. They will state that the conference has run out of rooms. Please be aware that this is not true and that Convention Expo Travel is not affiliated with ASTC Conferences in any way.
The hotels listed below are the official lodging for the 2008 ASTC Annual Conference and are still accepting reservations. Please do not accept any solicitations from outside sources. ASTC will notify you if the conference hotels are sold out.
If you have booked rooms through Convention Expo Travel we recommend that you cancel them immediately before you incur charges.
The two ASTC 2008 conference hotels are the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown and the Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown (by Marriott). You may also call the hotel of your choice directly, as indicated below. To obtain conference rates, rooms must be booked by September 23 (subject to availability).
Important: If registering by phone, you must identify yourself as being with the 2008 ASTC Annual Conference to receive the discounted rate.
