Exploratorium staff members In November 2001, four staff members from the Exploratorium, San Francisco, California embarked on a six-week journey to discover the scientific wonders of Antarctica. Origins Antarctica: Scientific Journeys from McMurdo to the Pole documents their expedition and features web casts, stories, and notes from the field describing what everyday life is like for researchers in Antarctica. The Exploratorium also has developed Global Climate Change: Research Explorer, a web site that enables visitors to explore scientific data relating to the atmosphere, the oceans, the areas covered by ice and snow, and the living organisms in all these domains.
