Since its founding in 1973, ASTC has nurtured a generation of science center professionals as the field has grown into a global phenomenon. ASTC is now the largest organization of interactive science centers in the world, with member organizations in 50 countries and every U.S. state, and a cumulative visitation of more than 95 million people.
Nearly 70% of ASTC’s income comes from corporate and foundation support. This type of support allows ASTC to fulfill its mission, support its members, and advocate on behalf of the global science center community.
