ASTC Virtual 2021 Annual Conference
October 5–7, 2021
ASTC continues our commitment to making this year’s virtual Annual Conference as accessible as possible to the community, reflecting the ongoing impact the pandemic has had on budgets, staffing, and operations. This builds on the success of last year’s virtual Annual Conference—which was the largest ever.
Even though this year’s conference will again be entirely virtual, there are still significant costs that ASTC incurs, including for audio visual, platform, and staffing.
Your registration also enables ASTC to serve our community in other ways, including by advocating on behalf of our field, hosting ongoing conversations to connect with and learn from colleagues, offering professional development opportunities throughout the year, and more. We also invite you to consider adding a voluntary donation to your registration, which will help make the conference available to those less able to pay.
All registration categories include live access to Plenary and Concurrent Sessions, Virtual Posters, Virtual Exhibitor Showcase, and networking events—as well as to on-demand session recording for 6 months.

Scholarships – New this year!
New this year, ASTC will be offering a limited number of scholarships to partially or completely defray the registration fees for those who would be unable to participate in conference otherwise. This includes—but is not limited to—students and those who have been furloughed or had their positions eliminated.
Three bundle options are available to ASTC member organizations—including both Science Center and Museum Members and Allied Members—which allow you to purchase a set of conference registrations at a greatly reduced price.
We hope that these member bundles not only provide a significant savings to ASTC member organizations, but also encourage our members to enable a larger breadth and depth of their teams to participate in the ASTC Annual Conference, including junior and front-line staff as well as areas of your organization that are often not as represented as others.
We encourage you to not only include regular staff at your organization in your bundle purchase, but also board members, committed volunteers, and close community partners.
After purchasing the bundle, chief executives will be contacted by a member of our Conference Team with additional details about how individuals can submit their registration.
This year, as in previous years, you will be able to register multiple individuals together at your institution one time through group registration, although each must have their own myASTC account. Additional step-by-step instructions for how to register a group will be available at a later date.
Please note that group registration is different from the member bundles, and while the purchase of a member bundle is NOT required to complete a group registration, you can utilize a purchased member bundle while registering a group.
All exhibitors must register for the conference. Exhibitors will receive three complimentary conference registrations with your booth purchase. Additional details will be provided at a later date.

Full payment must be received within 30 days of registration or your registration may not be processed.
Because ASTC 2021 will be a virtual event that can be attended from anywhere, cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A $5 processing fee will be assessed for all cancellations. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
