Upcoming Webinar: Innovative Exhibit Spaces for Early Childhood Learners

A small children’s museum and a large science center have more in common than you think when it comes to being creative. Join us on Thursday, August 13, at 12:30 p.m. ET to learn about the exciting and speedy renovation of Saint Louis’s Discovery Room, and about Discovery Museums’ “Backyard at Night” exhibit where children play and explore in the dark. Presenters will take you behind the scenes and discuss risk-taking, collaboration across departments, and, yes, budget.

Melissa Thomas (Saint Louis Science Center, Missouri) and Denise LeBlanc (The Discovery Museums, Acton, Massachusetts) will share their experiences developing early childhood spaces on small budgets during this one-hour webinar.

Facilitated by Ellen Blinderman (Lawrence Hall of Science, Berkeley, California) and Jennifer Jovanovic (GrowingGreat), this webinar will be participatory, so come prepared to share exhibit ideas and be inspired by fellow participants. This webinar is presented by ASTC’s Early Childhood Community of Practice.
