Nominations for the 2019 Leading Edge Awards close May 31

Nominate an institution, a colleague, or yourself for a 2019 Roy L. Shafer Leading Edge Award by May 31. This globally prestigious honor recognizes extraordinary achievement in science center and museum leadership, exhibitions, programs, marketing, fundraising, operations, visitor services, and more. Now in their 15th year, the awards commemorate the late Roy L. Shafer, a former science center director, ASTC president, organizational coach, and mentor to many in the science center field. All projects and practices implemented since January 2016 by current ASTC members are eligible for nomination.

Sponsored by Group Delphi, the 2019 Leading Edge Awards will be presented during the ASTC Annual Conference in Toronto, September 21–24. Each award will include a crystal “Edgie,” a complimentary registration for the conference, and other prizes and recognitions.
