Mission: “To attract people’s interest by cultivating their creativity in science and technology throughout life based on Islamic values and cultures.”
The Terengganu Science & Creativity Centre (TSCC) in Malaysia opened in 2005 by government of Terengganu. It is a state-run institution under the State Executive council of Education, Science, Technology, and Special Task Committee. Currently located in the Terengganu Trade Center, TSCC is moving to a brand new complex later this year. The new complex will consist of four buildings, including Maritime World, Flora World, The Incubator, and the main TSCC building.
TSCC hosts a number of programs under its Science and Innovation Enrichment banner, including:
- Science Journey, a science program that travels around the country
- Regular science speakers
- An invention challenge for students
- The annual science, technology, and innovation festival, FeSTI
- Night sky viewing
- Youth nature programs
- A monsoon science camp
The Centre is also home to a planetarium with programs for kids, teens, and all ages.
