What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about increasing accessibility to nature and science for communities of color and increasing the diversity and representation of those communities in the professions that carry out those fields. A corollary to this is a passion for positive youth development, which now manifests itself as being a volunteer in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. I’m also passionate about getting outdoors myself (backpacking, hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, snowboarding), cooking, music and live concerts, road trips, and other adventures.
