What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about many things, like cooking and food, music and the arts, cultures near and far, and my family. If I had to summarize my passions with a single statement, it would be that I’m passionate about making things and ideas practical and accessible, for myself, my friends, and my family, through stories, teaching, and hands-on experiences. For example, I enjoy good food, but I’m most passionate about cooking—the techniques, ingredients, and cultural stories behind making that food. I enjoy a lot of different music, but I love the thinking around music production—the stories of writing and recording. To me, it’s important to explore and celebrate process as much as the product and to inspire others through that celebration.
