ASTC Seeks ISE Session Proposals for NSTA 2019 Conference

Call for Session Proposals:

ASTC Strand at the 2019 National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) National Conference

Due Date: Monday, May 14

ASTC is currently soliciting proposals for 10 one-hour sessions at the next NSTA National Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, April 11–14, 2019.

Proposals are invited from the entire informal science education (ISE) community—educators from science centers, museums, zoos, aquariums, parks, visitor centers, media, afterschool programs, libraries, and other places where people learn outside of a traditional classroom.

Proposals that demonstrate connections and collaborations between informal science learning institutions and K–12 educators and/or education researchers are of special interest for the 2019 ASTC strand.

Click here to submit a short abstract (150–200 words) and description (maximum 25 words) of your proposed session no later than Monday, May 14.

Confirmations for accepted sessions will be emailed directly to the lead presenters by NSTA in October 2018.

Margaret Glass is ASTC’s Director of Professional Development.
