ISE Session Proposals Sought for 2020 NSTA Conference

Call for Session Proposals:

ASTC Strand at the 2020 NSTA National Conference

Due Date: Monday, May 6

ASTC is currently soliciting proposals for 10 one-hour sessions at the next National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) National Conference in Boston, April 2–4, 2020.

Proposals are invited from the entire informal science education (ISE) community—educators from science centers, museums, zoos, aquariums, parks, visitor centers, media, afterschool programs, libraries, and other places where people learn outside of a traditional classroom.

Proposals that demonstrate connections and collaborations between informal science learning institutions and K–12 educators and/or education researchers are of special interest for the 2020 ASTC strand.

Click here to submit a short abstract (150–200 words) and description (maximum 25 words) of your proposed session no later than Monday, May 6.

Confirmations for accepted sessions will be emailed directly to the lead presenters by NSTA in October 2019.

Margaret Glass is ASTC’s Director of Professional Development.
