Todd Happer Memorial Scholarship Fund

Todd Happer

Todd Happer spent his entire career championing and supporting the work of science and technology centers, science museums, children’s museums, and other informal learning institutions. In Todd’s advocacy for all ASTC members, he was especially passionate about highlighting the work of small institutions around the world, and he worked to ensure these institutions had access to and had a voice in ASTC’s community of members.

In honor of Todd’s legacy of service to our members, ASTC is establishing the Todd Happer Memorial Scholarship Fund to enable current and emerging leaders at small or remote science centers and museums to attend the ASTC Annual Conference—one of the premier professional development opportunities for this field. This Fund will provide registration as well as a stipend for travel, lodging, and per diem to staff members at ASTC-member institutions who do not otherwise have the funds to attend the ASTC Annual Conference. The total quantity, amount, and duration of the scholarships will vary depending on the size of the fund and/or the needs of the recipient and will be made available on an annual basis according to the criteria established by ASTC.
