Creating your schedule

  • Find sessions. The conference Schedule includes a full listing of each day’s events, including plenary and concurrent sessions, networking events, poster sessions, and more. All times are displayed in your time zone. When you locate a session you’d like to attend, just click the calendar icon to the right to add that session to your schedule, which will be displayed under My Schedule. This schedule is for your reference; you do not need to register for sessions.
    • Please note: The schedule is organized in time blocks starting on the hour, but sessions may start at different times during that hour, so please read the session information carefully.
  • Tracks, Channels, and Tags. Each concurrent session is organized according to a Track, Channel, and up to 3 topical Tags. Using these categories can help you find sessions of interest.
    • Tracks: Indicate how a session is aligned with a specific museum department or job role (e.g., Advancement and Partnerships/Fundraising)
    • Channels: Indicate the theme of the session (e.g., Practical Tips)
    • Tags: Indicate the focus of the individual session (e.g., Community Impact)

Attending sessions

  • When it’s time for a session to start, visit the session page. (Session pages can be accessed for the main conference Schedule, or the My Schedule feature.) On each session page, you will find details about the session, other attendees, the session video pane, and the live discussion box. The video and discussion box will be active when the session starts.
  • Some concurrent sessions will feature a 20-minute Post-session Roundtable Discussion at the conclusion of the main session. This is listed on the session page. Your presenters will let you know when and how to join the roundtable. All session attendees are welcome to attend if they would like.

Visiting the Virtual Exhibitor Showcase

  • Attendees may access the Virtual Exhibitor Showcase throughout the conference to visit booths and learn more about exhibitors. During dedicated showcase hours (indicated in the conference Schedule), attendees can engage with exhibitors via video chat or typing a message. Attendees can also book meetings with exhibitors via the booths.
