Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000 plus benefits

Adventure Science Center’s purpose is to transform lives through extraordinary experiences in science and innovation, and our vision is to become a nationally renowned destination science center. The jewel of our 111,000-square-foot building near downtown Nashville is the Sudekum Planetarium, a 166-seat theater featuring a 63-foot dome with an unparalleled projection system. The theater provides planetarium shows, laser shows, and featured events for youth and adult audiences.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Planetarium Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, daily operation, supervision, and fiscal management of the planetarium. This position reports to the CEO and works a schedule that includes weekends with occasional evening and holiday hours required.

The Sciencenter in Ithaca, New York, currently has an opening for a Volunteer Program Manager. This position enhances the experience of Sciencenter guests by maintaining a regular cohort of enthusiastic floor staff volunteers, through ongoing recruitment, training, and supervision. This individual will also engage museum guests through hands-on science activities and demonstrations; work collaboratively with others on special museum projects including work-study placements, and assist on grant-funded projects.
