Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards honor best science museums

Newsweek has named the winners of Readers’ Choice Awards, and ASTC-member institutions are well-represented. Newsweek convened expert panels to identify a list of candidates that were then subject to a public vote; individuals could vote once per day in each category.

The top vote-getter in Newsweek‘s Readers’ Choice Awards for best science museum is the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, leading a group of science museums and ASTC members:

Two ASTC members were also voted among the top ten free museums:
