The U.S. National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has announced $33.8 million in funding for 260 projects across the country—including three at ASTC-member organizations.
Overall, NEH made awards in 11 programs, including its new Public Impacts Projects at Smaller Organizations program, cultural and community resilience Grants, digital humanities, infrastructure and capacity building, preservation and access, fellowships, and more.
As a reminder, science-based cultural organizations are eligible to receive NEH grants. NEH encourages first-time applicants to connect with a program officer to discuss which grant programs might be the best fit for your institution or project.
Established in 1965 as an independent federal agency, NEH supports research and learning in history, literature, philosophy, and other areas of the humanities by funding selected, peer-reviewed proposals from around the nation.
