This webinar is an introduction to our new Community Science Civic Engagement & Policymaking Toolkit, which will be available on our website this spring. The toolkit is a guide for museums and science centers seeking to make a positive impact on their communities through Civic Engagement & Policymaking – one of the five Approaches to Community Science, which brings together science engagement practitioners, community members, and/or scientists to work collaboratively to address local socio-scientific issues through a broad range of activities, including conducting research, holding convenings, and interacting directly with policy- and decision-makers. In this session, we will walk through the information and resources the toolkit offers, with ample time for attendees to ask questions.
